By identifying inefficiencies using Eniscope and implementing practical optimisation solutions, Kudu has already achieved significant savings across its active sites. IoTech now aims to expand these solutions to more Kudu locations, helping multiply savings and establish Kudu as a leader in operational sustainability within Saudi Arabia’s QSR sector.

ENERGY MONITORING AND COST VISIBILITY ACROSS NOVA WATERS

Nova Waters, a prominent bottled-water manufacturer in Riyadh, has taken an important step towards smarter energy management and more sustainable manufacturing operations.

In a production environment where equipment operates continuously, clear visibility into electricity consumption is essential for controlling costs, improving operational efficiency, and supporting long-term sustainability goals. Through the deployment of Eniscope and supporting monitoring solutions, IoTech is helping Nova Waters track electricity use in real time, monitor power factor, and understand the energy cost associated with each bottle produced.

Nova Waters is well placed to benefit from the practical insights provided by Eniscope:

  • Real-Time Electricity Monitoring Across Production Operations

  • Electricity Cost Visibility Per Bottle

  • Real-Time Power Factor Monitoring

  • Data-Driven Energy Management Decisions

  • 1.8-Year Project Payback

  • A Stronger Foundation for Its Net-Zero Journey

By turning real-time electricity data into actionable operational insights, Nova Waters can identify inefficiencies, optimise energy use, and make better-informed decisions about future energy-saving measures. The project provides a strong example of how real-time energy monitoring can support cost control, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability across Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing sector.

Mövenpick Hotel Nairobi Case Study

Mövenpick Hotel: Reducing Energy Costs Through Real-Time Monitoring

Mövenpick Hotel Nairobi implemented a smarter approach to energy management across its large hospitality facility, where kitchens, cold rooms, laundry operations, guest-room equipment, and extensive air-conditioning systems contributed to high electricity costs.

Through a Best.Energy partner, four Eniscope 8 Hybrid devices were installed to provide 32 three-phase monitoring channels and real-time cloud visibility down to individual assets. This allowed the hotel team to identify unnecessary consumption and opportunities to optimise energy-intensive operations.

The project delivered the following results:

  • Approximately $4,000 in Monthly Energy Savings

  • 10%–13% Sitewide Energy-Bill Reduction

  • 36% Energy Savings on One Floor

  • Real-Time Visibility Down to Asset Level

  • Reduced Refrigeration Consumption Through CUES

  • No Upfront Capital Investment Under a Three-Year Shared-Savings Model

The data helped the hotel identify equipment operating unnecessarily, including mini bars in unoccupied rooms, as well as opportunities to improve laundry processes and reduce refrigeration consumption through CUES. The project demonstrates how hotels can reduce electricity costs while improving energy visibility and operational control.

Transmed: Improving Warehouse Energy Efficiency While Protecting Food Safety

Transmed Food Service, a leading FMCG food distributor in the UAE, manages energy-intensive warehouse operations handling chilled and perishable products.

Maintaining safe storage temperatures is essential, but refrigeration systems and heavy-duty chiller compressors can create significant electricity costs. Through the deployment of Eniscope and CUES technology, Transmed gained real-time visibility and control across key warehouse assets without disrupting daily operations or compromising food quality.

The combined monitoring and control solution delivered the following results:

  • 9.34% Electricity Savings Achieved

  • 45,877 kg of CO₂e Emissions Avoided

  • Net Cash Flow Gain Within One Month

  • Asset-Level Electricity Monitoring and Control

  • Reduced Energy Consumption Across Refrigeration and Chiller Systems

  • No Upfront Capital Investment

By combining real-time energy data with smart refrigeration control, Transmed was able to reduce operational costs while maintaining strict food safety and temperature requirements. The project provides a strong example of how warehouses and food distribution businesses can improve energy efficiency without compromising food safety or operational efficiency.

Bonaprene Case Study

Bonaprene: Identifying 30% Energy Savings Across Manufacturing Operations

Bonaprene, a leading UK polyurethane manufacturer serving the industrial, automotive, and aeronautical sectors, wanted to reduce energy consumption and strengthen its sustainability performance without affecting production output.

The factory was experiencing several areas of hidden energy waste, including heating equipment operating longer than required, machines running outside production hours, manual processes with limited control, and energy-intensive equipment operating at full capacity despite changing production demand.

Through a Best.Energy partner, Eniscope was installed across two production lines to provide real-time energy data and 24/7 analysis of individual machinery. This gave Bonaprene clear visibility into inefficient processes and helped the team identify immediate improvement opportunities.

The project delivered the following results:

  • 30% Energy Savings Identified

  • More Than £20,000 in Annual Energy-Bill Savings

  • Real-Time Visibility Across Two Production Lines

  • 24/7 Analysis of Individual Machinery

  • Visibility into Out-of-Hours Equipment Use

  • Ongoing Savings Worth Five Times the Initial Investment

By using granular energy data to improve operating schedules, equipment settings, and production processes, Bonaprene was able to identify and reduce unnecessary energy consumption. The results demonstrate how manufacturing businesses can turn real-time monitoring into measurable financial and sustainability improvements.

Tex Plastics Case Study

Tex Plastics: Achieving More Than 26% Energy Savings Through Real-Time Monitoring

Tex Plastics, a UK plastic injection moulding manufacturer, was facing rapidly increasing energy costs, with its energy bills quadrupling over the previous three to four years.

The company needed to reduce these escalating costs while improving operational efficiency and supporting its sustainability objectives. Three Eniscope units, together with Virtual Energy Monitoring, were deployed across 15–20 key assets, providing real-time, site-wide visibility into energy consumption.

This gave the engineering and management teams access to live data, enabling them to identify and act on energy inefficiencies.

The project delivered the following results:

  • More Than 26% Energy Savings

  • £237,000 in Annual Energy Savings

  • Break-Even Achieved Within Three Months

  • Real-Time Visibility Across 15–20 Key Assets

  • Full Visibility into Site Energy Consumption

  • Live Data for Engineering and Management Teams

The project demonstrates how real-time energy monitoring can help manufacturers identify inefficiencies, control rising energy costs, and turn consumption data into measurable financial and operational improvements.
